Theme & Atmosphere

You’re looking down on an underwater world full of animals and fantasy creatures that are swimming amongst the crumbling ruins. This is no sightseeing tour, though, as you’re trying to shoot the creatures down before they swim off the screen. You’ll enjoy a cheerful soundtrack when you first get going, but when Poseidon appears, there’s nothing but the sounds of heavy metal music and bullets flying.

 

Feature Overview

Betting is done via a pay-per-bullet system, so you’ll want to be smart with your ammo. You never know how many shots it’ll take to kill a creature and score its reward, though the big-money targets will usually require lots of accurate shots. Aside from the cash payouts, you can also hit symbols like the Lobster Bomb or Lightning Bomb, both of which will detonate and destroy other creatures for you. You can also hit the Frozen Treasure Chest for a 20x reward and to have all symbols on the screen freeze in place for a bit.

 

Technical Specifications & Mechanics

In normal shooting, your bullets will hit whatever is in front of your cannon. If you want to pinpoint a specific creature, however, you can use Lock Mode to target that specific symbol. This works great for when a high-value symbol appears, but the screen is too crowded with smaller fish to get off a clean shot. You can also use Auto Mode to release a continuous stream of shots.

 

Bet & Paytable Analysis

There are three rooms, each of which has its own range of wagers. In Bronze, you can bet 0.01 to 0.10 per shot, Silver allows bets of 0.10 to 1, while Gold has a range of 1 to 10 per shot. You can switch rooms at any time. The smaller creatures, like the Blue Fish and Sea Turtle, award more modest payouts. The Fire Dragon pays from 88x to 168x, while taking down Poseidon can award you the game’s Max Win, as it randomly awards between 88x and 368x.
