Theme & Atmosphere
Swirling blue clouds and scattered stars light up the screen in Sun vs Moon: Hold n’ Win, with a golden Sun and silver Moon flanking both sides of the grid. There aren’t any traditional slot symbols here. Just Suns and Moons on a 3x3 layout, and a trance-like soundtrack that plays in the background.
Feature Overview
The Hold n’ Win is what this game revolves around. Get 3 or more Bonus symbols on the grid, and the feature starts, at which point you pick either Sun or Moon. Whichever one you go with is held in place through the Respins, and the opposing symbol gets disregarded. You begin with 3 Respins that reset every time your chosen symbol lands.
What’s different about this Bonus compared to other Hold n’ Win games is that the number of triggering Bonus symbols determines the minimum prize value during the round. More symbols at the start mean higher prizes.
Technical Specs & Mechanics
Sun vs Moon: Hold n’ Win uses a 3-reel, 3-row grid with 8 paylines. Wins need 3 matching symbols along a line – could be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. Every Sun and Moon on the reels comes with a randomly assigned cash value between 0.2x and 9x, or a Jackpot label, so there’s no fixed paytable to speak of.
Bet & Paytable Analysis
Bets go from 0.05 to 50 per spin. Because prizes are randomly assigned to each symbol, the paytable isn’t conventional. The Grand Jackpot pays 500x if you manage to cover all 9 spots with the same symbol type, and that’s the top single payout in the game. The Major Jackpot pays 100x, and the Minor 50x, and those Jackpot labels can appear on symbols during any regular spin as well. Power Bet costs extra per spin but gives the Bonus a better chance of coming up, and there’s a Buy Feature too if you want a direct way in.
