Theme & Atmosphere

The Governor is built around a theme of shady politicians and the back-room deals that many of them make to get rich. This can be seen in the gold symbols and design, as well as the cigars, whiskey glasses, contracts and suitcases of money. The Reels sit in a dark-lit office adorned with portraits of powerful men, leather chairs and a wood desk. This provides an immersive experience for all who play.

Feature Overview

Every time you form a winning Cluster, those symbols get removed from the Grid so new ones can fall into their place, providing you a chance at consecutive wins. Every winning position is highlighted in a Golden Frame, and they can be activated by Lobbyist symbols. When they are, you’ll get either Donation Prizes, Dark Money Multipliers or Offshore symbols, which can then collect the value of every Donation and Offshore symbol on the Reels. You get eight or 12 Free Spins in three different modes by landing at least three  Scatters at once.

Technical Specs & Mechanics

The game is played out over six Reels and five Rows, and uses a Cluster Pay mechanic to determine wins. The Minimum wagering amount is 0.20, with the Maximum being 100. You change the amount of your bet by clicking the plus and minus buttons at the bottom. To ensure that the game is not rigged, the developers built a Random Number Generator (RNG) into it to power the outcome of spins.

The low-value symbols in this game are the traditional Royals, and they will pay anywhere from 0.01 to 1.50. Premium symbols are cigars, whiskey glasses, contracts, brief cases with money and the Governor, and they offer payouts ranging from 0.03 to 10. Your payouts will be based on what symbol you land, how many are in a Cluster and what you bet for that spin. Increasing your bet level won’t increase your chances of forming a win or triggering a special feature.
