Theme & Atmosphere

Reds and golds fill the screen in Year of the Horse, with paper lanterns and carved horse statues surrounding the grid on both sides. Fireworks go off above pagoda rooftops from time to time while the reels are spinning, creating a captivating atmosphere. The symbols are all themed around the Chinese zodiac – the Goat, Rooster, Monkey, Dragon on medallions – and Card Royals from J to A fill out the rest of the paytable below them.

Feature Overview

The main feature to know about in Year of the Horse is the Free Spins Round, where a Bonus Multiplier climbs with each spin you play. The way it works is that a Scatter has to appear on every reel to get things going, and you’re given 10 Free Spins when it does. The rate at which the Multiplier increases depends on how many Scatters you landed to trigger the Bonus.

There’s also Wild Money, which is a random feature that can fire during any spin. When it does, all Wilds on the reels expand to cover their full columns.
