Join the rich and famous for a round of baccarat – an elegant card game that’s typically played by high rollers. Despite the prestige surrounding the game, it’s quite simple; you bet on one of three random outcomes: a Banker win, a Player win or a Tie. Who will get a higher score: the Banker or the Player? Or maybe they’ll tie for a 9-1 payout. The result of each round is visually represented with color-coded beads at the side of the screen, so you can quickly see who’s been dominant and adjust your bets accordingly.
Theme & Atmosphere
Baccarat takes out all the showy glitz and glamour of the game and strips it down to its basics. You are greeted by a green felt table, with the seats clearly displayed in front of you. Simply place your bets at the table, hit the Deal button, and play the game. It doesn’t get any simpler than that.
Feature Overview
Baccarat is a straightforward game with a fast pace. The goal of the game is to beat the dealer's hand by landing a natural 9 or getting as close to a 9 as possible. You can bet either on the Player or Banker bet, but you can also bet on a tie. Statistically, the Banker bet is the safer one, as it has a slightly lower house edge. But you should also know that each win on the Banker bet comes with a 5% commission.
Technical Specifications & Mechanics
There are three seats at the Baccarat table for you to bet on. At each spot, you can see chips with denominations of 1, 5, 25, 100, and 500. Simply pick the chip you want to use and place it on the Player, Banker, or Tie bet. You can also use combined bets on the Player and Tie or the Banker and Tie. After that, click the Deal button to deal the hand.
Bet & Paytable Analysis
The way the cards' values are calculated in Baccarat is very simple. The cards ranging from 2-9 are counted by their own values. All other cards, 10, J, Q, K, and A, have a value of 0. If the total value of the cards is over 10, the first number is removed.
If you get an 8 or 9, you will automatically stand with a “natural.” A total of 6 or 7 will also make you stand, though the hand is not quite as good. If you get 5 or less, you get a third card.
