The odds and payouts change as fast as the cards are dealt. Make the bet, decide if you want to double or not, and check the result. Then deal two new cards.
Theme & Atmosphere
Red Dog plays tunes from a universal soundtrack of smooth jazz. The table is covered with a green felt, with boxes to place your bet. In the middle is the sole piece of importance: a way to track the current bet. The miniature Red Dog moves around, revealing the spread and the payout. Keep a hard eye on it, because you need to know how to read its moves to score in this game.
Feature Overview
Round after round you’re faced with the same decision. You can fidget with the settings, turn off the music, increase the game speed, memorize the Paytable, and re-read the rules. It’s no use, you always come back to that same question: is it now that I double? Is the risk too great, or is the reward too low? It’s time for the next round; it’s time for a decision. Repeat and see if you make the same decision again.
Technical Specifications & Mechanics
Two cards are placed on the table. Will the third one land between the two? You must place your bet before the cards are dealt. The total runs from 0.10 to 100, and you can double that once the cards are dealt. No point counting cards from the eight decks, it’s all RNG, and that dog doesn’t care who it's barking at.
Bet & Paytable Analysis
The idea is simple, the more space (spread) between the two cards, the smaller the payout. You only win when the third card can fit between the two. Card ranks run from Two to Ace. Consecutive cards and pairs count as ties. On a pair a third card is dealt to see if you’re lucky enough to score three-of-a-kind, which pays 11:1. The rest of the spreads pay from 5:1 to even money. The best bet is to keep an eye on the layout.
