The total is the combined score of both teams in an event. Instead of betting on which team will win, you wager on whether the final score will go Over (O) or Under (U) the total set by the oddsmakers. That’s why totals are also called Over/Under bets.
Baseball (MLB)
Both listed pitchers must start the game.
The game must go 9 innings (or 8.5 if the home team is ahead) for Over/Under bets to stand.
Hockey (NHL)
If a game goes to a shootout, only one goal is added to the final score for the winning team, no matter how many were scored during the shootout round.
Football & Basketball
Totals include overtime unless otherwise stated.
If the game is suspended and not completed on the same day, all Totals wagers are graded No Action (void).
Totals bets are all about the combined score, not who wins.
A Push happens when the total lands exactly on the set line.
Always check the specific rules, especially in baseball and hockey.
