Online Roulette

Play Online Roulette for Money

Roulette has been around casinos from day one. At Lucky Rebel, it's a staple too.

But we added different versions beyond American and European roulette. A different spin, maybe. Sorry, that was a layup though.

There's live roulette, Double Dragon, Flash... in all, 10 roulette games. All for real money.

Fast, clean gameplay is the Lucky Rebel standard across every casino game, and the look and feel of roulette is right in our wheelhouse.

How to Play

A big part of roulette's appeal comes from how simple it is.

Lucky Rebel players can handle the strategy or complexity of any type of gambling, sure. But keeping it simple so you can focus on making money at the roulette table never hurts.

Once you pick your roulette game, pick your bet type, place your chips on the betting layout accordingly, and watch the wheel spin until the ball drops into the pocket.

The layout gives you all the info, so you just drop your chips on a specific number, or on a number range, on red or black, or the even/odd squares.

It helps to know your odds before putting chips everywhere. The different roulette strategies are listed below, along with their odds and payouts.

Bet Types and Odds

You already know roulette is more than just a straight bet on the ball hitting a number.

Here are the different roulette bet types for American roulette.

  • Straight-up: this is where you pick the winning number, straight-up. So you've got a 1 in 38 shot at getting it right. The odds are steep (2.63%), but the upside is large.
  • Split: this is picking two adjacent numbers. You got the math already probably – 2in 38, or 1 in 19.
  • Corner: pick a square block on the online roulette table, four numbers. That's 4 in 38, or 10.53% for the fans of precision at Lucky Rebel.
  • Red/Black: this isn't a straight 50-50 bet. But you remembered those extra zeroes pockets, which are green. 18 out of 38 is your shot here.
  • Even/Odd: same odds as Red/Black bets. You pick an even number or an odd number to finish in the lucky pocket.

American and European Roulette

The two main versions of roulette are American Roulette and European Roulette.

American has the higher house edge, with the double 00 giving the roulette wheel 38 pockets. But players can sometimes play more side bets, plus their more familiar with the double 00 version.

Value-focused players usually go for European roulette, with 37 pockets and no double zeroes.

We're not going to endorse either version, but the smart money (Lucky Rebel players usually) doesn't like giving any extra edge to the house if they can help it.

Strategies

Lucky Rebel players are serious with the game of online roulette. You're probably not some cruise ship player who's three martinis in, betting it all on some lucky number as they walk to the buffet.

Here are the strategies you can follow to optimize your roulette play.

Martingale

This is where you're banking on one big win occasionally. You double your bet after every loss on an even money bet (say even/odd or red/black). After you win, you go back to your original bet size.

You need a big bankroll to play Martingale, because a long losing streak will drain you.

D'Alembert

Sticking to even-money bets again, you increase your bet by one unit after every losing spin and decrease it by one unit after a win.

You will stay in the game longer than if you played the Martingale way, and your bankroll may not need to be as large. But the upside is smaller.

Fibonacci

Math geeks, heads-up. This system is all about the numbers.

The Fibonacci sequence is the bet sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13. Move forward in that sequence by one step for each loss and move back two steps after a win.

A win will cover a series of losses fast, but the losses can still drain you if the streak is bad.

James Bond

A flat bet system, this one has nothing to do with the numbers 007. Here you use 3 bets per spin to cover a wide spread of potential outcomes. Starting with $200 bankroll as an example, you bet $140 on numbers 19-36, $50 on 13-18, and $10 on zero.

The upside is that you feel like you're more in the game on every spin. But the odds never lie – no system is foolproof.

The different roulette variants all bring something to the table. But Lucky Rebel players like the no-frills action a bit more.

The most popular games for online roulette at Lucky Rebel include:

  • Live Dealer Roulette. The experience is one of the better online casino layouts anywhere. The multipliers also help, and so does the speed. The dealer gives you 15 seconds between spins to place your bets.
  • American Roulette. The classic roulette game is so familiar to players that it'll always draw the crowds. Side bets with the 00 that only appears on the American version make the game more of a fan favorite too.
  • European Roulette. Lucky Rebel players are into the best odds, with no b.s. In this case, the European version has the American version beat. But many players like the game they grew up with in the USA.

Live Dealer Roulette

Vegas is still worth the trip every couple of years. But the quality of Lucky Rebel's live casino games has gotten so good, it's like getting Vegas delivered to you wherever you are.

Live dealer roulette is live-streamed gameplay, with a real dealer calling the shots. Or spins, that is.

The whole screen is immersive, from the layout to the betting buttons to the large roulette wheel itself.

One of the coolest parts on live dealer roulette is the multiplier that gets applied to a number while the wheel is spinning – if that's your number and it hits, the winnings can get real large.

Payouts in Roulette

Roulette gives every type of bettor an in on every spin of the wheel.

Risk-takers can get high-risk, high-rewards odds. More cautious players can get 1:1 odds. This keeps your bankroll rolling longer. And there are bets to play in the middle too.

Some online roulette games also bring side bets and special features to play, but these are the core roulette payouts:

  • Straight-up: 35 to 1
  • Split: 17 to 1
  • Street: 11 to 1
  • Corner: 8 to 1
  • Red/Black: 1 to 1
  • Even/Odd: 1 to 1

Real Money or Crypto

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT are the primary crypto deposit methods at Lucky Rebel. They're a quick way to get in the game and help you keep your privacy. You can also use standard credit card deposits.

Crypto is converted into real money once it hits your account, so you know exactly how much you've got to bankroll your roulette play.

Either way, roulette is eligible for Lucky Rebel's welcome bonus promotions (pro tip: the bonuses are bigger for crypto deposits).
